The young golfer will have multiple well-known backers as she starts her professional golf debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several golf courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically suggested to go out there and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to compete, relax, adapting to the flow."
