Close to Ninety Air Travels Connected to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airports
Analysis has found that approximately 90 flights associated to Jeffrey Epstein reportedly landed at and took off from British airports, with some allegedly having onboard British women who allege they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Show Pattern of Movement
The flight logs were among a trove of court documents and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the last year. The investigation identified 87 flights tied to Epstein – featuring many that were not previously known – landing or taking off from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unnamed women were recorded among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened following Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a child.
“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his activities in the country,” stated American attorneys representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
A statement from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that individual has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police said they had “not received any additional evidence that would support reopening the inquiry.” They added, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”
Continuing Document Release and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to release all files held by the US government in relation to Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of documents are anticipated to be made public.
Additionally, a US judge ordered last week that the department could disclose evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
